Circle:

Ancestors

The midpoint in Autumn is celebrated by many cultures as the time when the Ancestors draw near. The veil between the worlds of the living and the dead is thinnest.

In the fullness of Harvest, it’s prime time to honor those who’ve gone before us, and thank them for their guidance in what we’ve cultivated this year.

We can also ask our Ancestors for health and help for where we need support in our lives.

In this virtual gathering, you will do a simple ritual to connect with an Ancestor.

OUR CIRCLE:

  • Introductions

  • Meg on the New Moon in Scorpio

  • Carol on Harvest and Ancestors

  • Fire, Water, Air, and Earth rituals

  • Journaling

  • Sharing

  • Closing.

Please consider one influential Ancestor, a blood relative or historical inspiration who’s helped you to cultivate and tend your big dreams this year.

Please bring a pen and journal; candle and lighter or matches; and glass of water.

*This gathering will be recorded so you can view it later.

“Breathing in, I see all my ancestors in me:

my mineral ancestors, plant ancestors, mammal ancestors, and human ancestors.

My ancestors are always present, alive in every cell of my body, and I play a part in their immortality.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh
