Cutting Edge Collage: Invoking the Leader in You
In her small group collage circles, Carol holds sacred space for self-inquiry, art making, and sharing discovered wisdom. In this, her first online collage circle, Carol invites you to share in her favorite art practice to create order in a disordered world.
COLLAGE is an accessible, playful way to create something new out of disparate images. It is also a powerful alchemical process to call forth the Leader in each of us.
What qualities of being, gifts and talents, and forgotten wisdoms do you want to inaugurate in yourself and the world?
The archetype of the Leader is the one in each of us who Shows Up, Chooses to be Present, and Takes a Stand for the greater good. Let’s be together in the creative hum of discovery!

In this online masterclass and studio session, it’s up to you to show up and create value from your experience. I will participate as a maker while I hold space for you to:
Be present in the dreamtime, as a group of makers connected by our shared process of free creative exploration.
Make your collage, to the extent it wants to progress in an hour.
Let your collage begin to show you the Leader in you.
Share and respond to raw works in a way that encourages, not critiques.
*BEFORE: So that you have time to prepare, upon registration you will receive:
a welcome video on the Leader archetype and the theme of inauguration;
an audio recording of the guided meditation to invoke the Leader in you;
and a materials list. The first two will guide your gathering of images.
**AFTER: I will send journal prompts to reflect on your collage and activate it as a touchstone for your inner Leader. I will give you the playlist. And I’ll request a photo of your collage to make a gallery to send to the group, each collage a facet of what we are bringing into the world.

Collage is the twentieth century's greatest innovation.
— Robert Motherwell
I've worked with collage a lot.
And there's this chance thing that happens -
you don't always control things.
Why did you find this today and not this?
But you've got this thing, and you make it work.
It's the way life is, I suppose.
Whatever happens, you deal with it.
— Christian Marclay
